The edifice dates back to Venetian times (15th century) and was renovated in 2016. The building was uninhabited since the Second World War due to bombing but the main frame is originally kept and reserved with stone, wood, iron and glass. Nowadays this building is divided in two elegant two-level homes. The elegant, warm and charming decor throughout the house is relaxing and inviting. Everything has been modernized to give maximum comfort and convenience while maintaining old-world charm. From its private and furnished roof terrace (table, chairs) you can dine and sun yourself while viewing the Neoria buildings, the rooftops of Chania, the minarets, churches, etc. The location of the House is superb for exploring Chania, shopping and fine dining. On its first floor Akali has two large and bright bedrooms with double bed and ensuite bathrooms. One of which has a sofa bed (2 persons can sleep). Each bedroom has been carefully furnished and decorated to give an individual, harmonious, warm and welcoming ambience. The house has 3 bathrooms: all have been designed and finished to the highest standards, with carefully chosen faucets and big wet-room showers. We supply towels, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, shower gel and a hair dryer in each bathroom. To ensure your comfort, all bedrooms and living rooms are air conditioned. On the second floor, its atmospheric terrace (table and chairs) offers great views of the Old Town.
