Spacious, comfortable, well equipped Victorian house in pleasant, quiet, central Whitby location. 2 mins walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs etc, 5 mins walk to beach/harbour. Free parking for 3 cars (saving over £225 per week). Sleeps 8 adults (+ cot) comfortably in 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms + downstairs WC. Ideal for gatherings of extended family or friends. Sunny walled courtyard garden and conservatory with seating, table, barbecue. Self check-in with key safe. The space Elegant period house in peaceful central Whitby location very close to harbour, beach, shops etc offers spacious, high standard and comfortable accommodation for larger parties of up to 8 adults (+ cot). Ground floor - spacious sitting room, separate dining room and well equipped kitchen with conservatory leading to sunny walled courtyard garden with seating, table and barbecue. WC. First floor - spacious master king bedroom; double with en-suite (WC, basin, shower), family bathroom (WC, basin, bath, separate shower) Second floor - super king (option to have as twin on request); two single rooms (both full size 3ft beds), bathroom (WC, basin, shower) Each bedroom has generous hanging and storage space, mirrors, a hair dryer, a choice of feather or synthetic pillows, black out curtains, bedside cabinets and lamps Very effective gas central heating, pressurised hot water system and gas coal fires in sitting and dining rooms. Smart TV and complimentary wifi. All bedding and towels provided. Large fold out desk suitable for computer work, online meetings etc, with suitable chair and library lamp. Parking permits are provided free of charge for three cars for use during your stay. These save our guests around £225 per week in parking costs. Scratchcard for one car for on-road parking (first come basis), two permits for nearest car park (4 mins walk). The Judge's House is a no smoking property (including the garden) and pets are not allowed, (sorry) due to our allergies, so the house is suitable for guests who have such allergies. Cleaning and laundry cost us £200 per stay, for 2 nights or 10. The cleaning fee contributes to this cost. The Judge's House is in a quiet cul de sac so luggage drop off is usually very easy. The house is very convenient for all Whitby's many attractions, which are in easy walking distance. Nearest shops, restaurants and pub are less than 2 mins walk. The cliffs, beach and harbour are about 5 mins walk. Guest access Guests have sole use of the house and its garden. Self check in from 4pm, check out 10am. The quiet cul-de-sac setting means luggage drop off etc is usually easy (do not leave any car unattended while doing this) Other things to note The house is in a tranquil setting, yet very close to all Whitby's many attractions. The beach and the harbour are both about five minutes walk. Shops, pubs, restaurants etc are two minutes walk. The house is in a quiet residential cul de sac, with no through traffic and guests should avoid any anti-social noise.
