Rustic Guesthouse in Central Location + Great View

Located in Soumont, a stopover between the Salagou lake and the Larzac plateau. Situated in a quiet village, with a beautiful, panoramic view, and yet placed in a central and strategic location from which to explore the wider area. It is only 8 mins away from the entrance to the A75 motorway, as well as to the small city Lodève, where you can find all necessary facilities and shops. The space Our gîte is a self-contained house that sleeps 7 people comfortably. Up to 10 people can be lodged. The kitchen is well equipped. Most modern appliances are present: oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, water kettle, coffee machine, toaster. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. The other small table in the kitchen can be added to seat 2 more people. WiFi is available throughout the house and on the terrace. There is no television. The biggest bedroom on the first floor has 4 single beds. This room has an en-suite shower and sink. The other bedroom on the first floor has a bunk bed. If so desired, a pull-out bed can be used to sleep an extra person in this room. The bedroom on the ground floor has 2 single beds. One extra sleeping arrangement for 1 adult can be made of the the sofa in the living room. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with two washbasins, a large Italian shower and a separate WC area. On the first floor you will find another toilet. Also please note that the spiral staircase is a little steep. Guest access The gîte is attached to our house, but has its own private entrance. You are self-sufficient, with access to your own kitchen and terrace. On the south side of the gîte there is a very pleasant terrace with a large garden table (8 to 9 places) and some loungers. The terrace is surrounded by large trees that provide shade in summer. From the terrace there is a super view on the mountains, the garden, the dwarf goats and the trampoline. You also have access to the garden, which is shared with us and our two daughters (3 and 6 years old). The garden is big, and is fenced to accommodate 2 adorable dwarf goats, that you can caress. Also, there is a big trampoline available for children to use, as well as two swings. Other things to note Sheets are not included in the price. You can bring your own sheets. But if you do, please bring all of these: - mattress cover or flat sheet - flat sheet to put under the duvet or blanket - pillowcase Duvets and extra blankets are available in the gîte. A sleeping bag is only permitted if you bring a mattress cover and a pillow cover. If you can't bring your own sheets, you can also rent a set from us for 7 euros per person. This set includes the above sheets + a towel. The gîte does not have its own washing machine. If you would need some washing done, you can ask access to our washing machine. There's a clothesline outside. There is no shop in our little village of Soumont, however there is a small market on friday night. And during the summer, there is an agreeable little resto close to the panoramic viewpoint. About dogs / cats If you wish to bring an animal, please contact us.
