Charming Sustainable quiet Harbourside Holiday Cottage located on a quiet arm of Sydney Harbour. With beautiful Native Bush on one side of the road and quiet harbour side beaches at the end of the street this is a lovely location to base yourself in when exploring all that Sydney has to offer. With your private entrance from the street welcome to your Sydney Harbourside Cottage. The cottage has been set up as Sustainable Holiday Accommodation The space This cottage is over 100 years old and has been thoughtfully renovated with a fun Beach theme to it. The owners are also passionate about sustainability and the cottage gives you a chance to stay in accommodation that is sustainable. The cottage has its own solar panels, and guests are welcome to use the shared compost bin for any food waste. The lighting used throughout the cottage is LED or compact fluorescents. Look out for thoughtful touches throughout the cottage from the Kookaburra hooks outside to hang your towels in the sun to dry to the up cycled denim draft stoppers and the hand made cushions. The gallery wall features local artists work as well as two beautiful pictures painted by past guests. The cottage is part of the grounds of the child hood home of well known Australian Artist Brownie Downing. Guest access Guests have their own access from the street. This leads you past the planted garden and grassed lawn down to a private courtyard and to the cottage. There is a lock box located next to the front door to retrieve the key from. To dispose of any rubbish recycling or compost simply open the side gate and come through to the rubbish bins located in front of the garage.
