These creatures are considered good luck and actually help by eating mosquitoes. • Our ponds are full of fish and the occasional frog. • We aim for a balance between the modern and the natural. We do fog the area to control dengue mosquitoes, but we do not use harsh chemicals to eliminate all insects. • A Note on Tropics: If you are highly sensitive to insects or small creatures, you may prefer a large, sterile resort environment. Our villa is best for guests who appreciate being immersed in nature. The Rice Field Views The stunning rice fields on either side of the villa are an important part of Bali’s traditional culture and a delight to watch. • You will see our neighbours and their families tending the fields daily.
