The pool area, overlooking the olive grove and vines, provides both shaded and sunny relaxation. The grounds offer wonderful walks. Perfect for families or groups. The space Torricella provides luxurious holiday living, has all the modern amenities and a very well equipped kitchen. There are four main bedrooms (1 king, 1 double and 2 twin/double), a bedroom/study which has a convertible sofa bed and the Hayloft also has three futons which are perfect for young people. There are three bathrooms. Outside there is a large sun terrace for eating al fresco as well as the dining area under the loggia with wood fired bbq and bbq/brazier. The comfortable seating area under the loggia is the perfect place to relax with coffee after a long lunch or to enjoy an aperativo before dinner. The salt water pool with dark liner affords stunning views over the valley below. Privacy and tranquility are key, with Torricella enjoying its peaceful surroundings on the saddle of a hill. For children there are cots, high chairs and a buggy, as well as an abundance of games for all ages. All five bedrooms have fans and air conditioning and all windows have insect screens. For children there are indoor and outdoor games. For the adults, think of wine tastings, cooking courses, private chefs at the house and so much more. Guest access Surrounding Torricella are beautiful landscaped grounds. There is a lovely covered loggia for outside dining overlooking that amazing view. There is also a separate pergola area for reading or relaxing. There is yet another terrace for just taking in the vista of the valley below. The house is completely secluded and for those who like to meander and hike this is the perfect retreat. The woodland surrounding the property is calm and shady and perfect for morning strolls and is very private. For those who like to combine relaxation with sightseeing, there are many picturesque towns within easy driving distance. Torricella is situated in the middle of Italy. The major cultural centres of Rome, Florence, Sienna, Bologna and Pisa are a day-trip away, with beautiful towns such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Cortona (to name but a few) being an easy half-day visit. Other things to note All bedrooms have fans. Air conditioning in the bedrooms is available for an additional charge of €500 per week. Please request it in advance so we can arrange it for you. There is a 4 kilometre unmade road leading to the property which is bumpy in parts and therefore a car with high ground coverage is recommended. A sports car will not make it! Please note that there are certain areas which can be dangerous for small children if left unaccompanied such as the pool area and stairways inside and around the house.
