Located on the 5th floor of our family home in a safe neighbourhood, it offers full privacy, natural light, strong WiFi, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and free laundry. Ideal for couples, long stays, and digital nomads seeking comfort and local experience. Electricity is charged separately. Weekend guests are invited to enjoy a home-cooked family dinner. The space If you’re looking for more than just a room — if you’d like to experience real Hanoi life while still enjoying full privacy — our home may be perfect for you. The 50 m² apartment is on the 5th floor of our family house at 77A Tho Nhuom Street, in central Hanoi. Three generations live here: my wife and I (both retired), our two sons and their families, and our granddaughters. We are a warm, respectful, and welcoming family. The apartment itself is completely private, including your own bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. You will have your own keys and may come and go freely at any time. To reach the apartment, you enter through our shared front door and walk up the stairs (no elevator). On the way, you’ll pass our kitchen — sometimes filled with the smell of home cooking 😊 What You’ll Enjoy • Queen-size bed and wardrobe • Spacious bathroom with strong hot shower • Comfortable living room • Fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, microwave, cookware, dining table) • Air-conditioners in both bedroom and living room • Two large work desks — ideal for remote work • Strong, reliable WiFi throughout • Rooftop access • Safe for valuables The apartment is bright and airy, with large windows and plenty of natural light — a rare feature in central Hanoi. What’s Included • Free use of our laundry room (2 washing machines + drying space) • One 18.5L bottle of Lavie drinking water every two weeks • A family dinner invitation if you stay over the weekend Electricity is charged separately based on usage (the apartment has its own meter). In summer (April–July), it is usually around USD 1 per day if one air-conditioner is used. In cooler months, it is about USD 0.5 per day or less. Location We are located in Hoan Kiem District, just a short 10-minute walk to beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. The area is safe, lively, and full of local restaurants, cafés, markets, and supermarkets. Everything you need is within walking distance. We are always happy to help you settle in and recommend our favorite local places. Staying here gives you the best of both worlds: ✔ Complete privacy ✔ Central location ✔ Real Vietnamese family atmosphere We look forward to welcoming you to our home and sharing a little piece of Hanoi life with you 😊 Guest access You will enter through our family’s front door and walk up the stairs to the 5th floor (no elevator). The entire apartment is private and just for you — bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. You will have your own keys and can come and go anytime. We share the entrance and staircase, as our family lives on the 2nd and 3rd floors. You are also welcome to use the laundry room and enjoy the rooftop. Other things to note • The apartment is on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. Guests should be comfortable using stairs. • The entrance and staircase are shared with our family. We are a multi-generational Vietnamese household, so you may occasionally hear normal family sounds during the day. Nights are generally quiet. • Electricity is charged separately based on actual usage (the apartment has its own meter). In summer (April–July), it is usually around USD 1 per day if one air-conditioner is used. In cooler months, it is about USD 0.5 per day or less. • As this is a family home (not a hotel), we kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours at night and treat the space as their own home. • We appreciate non-smoking guests
