Lime Cottage is a tastefully restored, lime-washed 17th Century Cottage. It is full of character, charm and original features. It is cosy and welcoming. It is situated above the village of Manorbier and halfway between Tenby and Pembroke, a five mile drive in each direction. A pretty, mile-long walk gets you to Manorbier beach, castle and coast path. It is set 300m back from the road, in a peaceful location, surrounded by fields but is also close to amenities. The space The cottage has a large inglenook fireplace dating it to the early 17th century. It was renovated over using traditional lime mortar in the walls and covered with natural clay paint. The oil-fired Aga keeps the cottage dry and cosy during the coldest months. There are also night storage heaters in all the rooms. Lime Cottage sleeps 5 people comfortably and has three bedrooms: a bedroom with a super-kingsize bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a room with an adult-size single room. A collapsible bed can be erected in the single room if requested, but this is only really suitable for a child. All bedrooms are south-facing with low level windows and veluxes. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. The downstairs living area is open plan comprising a hand-built kitchen with an Aga, a freestanding cooker, a Welsh dresser and a dish washer. The comfortable seating area has a television and DVD player. There is a shower and toilet downstairs along with a washing machine and Belfast sink for hand washing. Guest access The safe, sheltered, private garden is the perfect place to relax after a day spent on one of Pembrokeshire many fine beaches.
