The Spruce Hus - Studio by the lake.

Welcome to your cabin by the lake. Created by a Queenstown architect it’s warm and cosy with underfloor heating for the Winter, north facing and sunny in the courtyard for dining in Summer. It's clad with Canadian Cedar on the outside and lined with Scandinavian Spruce inside giving a lovely natural ambiance. Located in a quiet and peaceful part of sunny Kelvin Heights it's beside the lake and the Queenstown Trail. The space The Spruce Hus (pronounced 'hoos') is a stand-alone studio with its own entry. It has a mezzanine floor where the split king-size bed is. This can be split in two for seperate sleeping arrangements if required. Guest access Guests can access our clothes line for drying of clothes. There is a washing machine in the bathroom and a dryer located in the garage (beside the studio). The garage can also be used for storing bikes or skiis, or other sporting equipment - a key for this area will be provided if required. Other things to note There are stairs to the mezzanine bedroom. A third member of our family is Molly, a 4 year old Jack Russell terrier, she is very friendly, loves chasing sticks and is usually always on a lead when outside the house.
