My place in Porta Sole is in the highest Perugia historic center area, close to public transports, a few steps from Piazza Dante, Piazza Italia, Piazza IV Novembre and Corso Vannucci. You will like my accommodation because the area is super quiet, the atmosphere is unique, and outdoor spaces with Umbrian cultures' will leave you breathless. My accommodation is suitable for couples, adventurers, business travelers, families (with children) and also for our small & polite hairy friends (pets). The space La Casetta di Porta Sole is located in the highest area of Perugia's historic center. It was renovated in November 2016 with the intent to make it unique, welcoming and in perfect harmony with the Umbrian architecture. It is on the first floor of a historic building, overlooking the square below and, my place, it's made with love and care in every aspect: both architectural, both of furniture, both in terms of facilities. The accommodation is divided into two large rooms: an entrance with a dining area and a fully equipped and habitable kitchen also heated by a fully functional fireplace, which is supplied with wood. The kitchen has all kinds of accessories (knives, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans) to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner. In addition, guests will have a Nepresso coffee machine with enough capsules for their stay. Finally, guests will have at their disposal an international selection of cooking salts, spices and tea/herbal teas. The second room houses the living room (with plasma TV and double sofa bed), a bedroom area on the mezzanine and a bathroom with shower (a complete bath set is provided). In the living room you can find a pc and also a Canon printer for yr train and flying tickets, if needed. The bed is equipped with 100% pure cotton linens and guests are given a set of high quality towels, as well as bath products (shampoo, conditioner and body cream). Guest access The entire apartment is at your full disposal. The kitchen is new, fully equipped with utensils and dishes needed to prepare meals, a big fridge with a freezer below, dishwasher, washer-dryer, oven, coffee maker. In the bathrooms you will have shampoo, hair dryer, soap and everything can be useful. Wi-Fi connection (at high speed) is free 24/7 . I will receive you at the check-in with all the information about the house and the city, in order to make your stay unique and serene. Your stay is sure to be relaxing because the house is on a quiet square and completely soundproofed, located in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Porta Sole is the highest place of Perugia. To get there we start from Piazza Michelotti and you get to a maximum height of 493 meters above sea level. From this point you can see the whole city and enjoy a unique and spectacular view, loosing yourselves in the underlying villages. Also getting home will be like discovering the typical areas of Perugia city center, because the path will be in the streets and alleys between typical and characteristic of my ancient city. For example, the only painting by Raphael in Perugia is just 50 meters from my home, in the Chapel of San Severo. A few meters away it is one of the most spectacular views of Perugia. For those arriving by car, the historic center of Perugia respects the following times of ZTL (limited traffic areas): from Monday to Saturday from 00.00 to 13.00 and on Sundays or public holidays from 00.00 to 07.00. Within the ZTL parking is allowed for payment during opening hours, in the numerous areas subject to payment. To reach the closer destination to my apartment, just set your navigator on "Piazza B. Michelotti". From this point, it will only be a few steps to reach my apt. Other things to note This house has been furnished and recently restored with a lot of love and in the hope of giving warmth and hospitality to all those who want to spend a quiet stay, with a historical and gastronomic items. Together with those who want to get lost and walk in places that have enchanted and made Perugia one of the city's most beautiful province in the world. Inside the house you will find a vademecum with the most important signs to guide you to the best in Perugia and surroundings (Assisi, Spoleto, Lake Trasimeno, historic routes, points of interest, favorites restaurants and hip places). The apartment is located in a limited traffic area (ZTL), open to transit from 13.00 to 24.00 - with paid parking (at different price ranges depending on the district). There are two paid parking lots near the apartment (Covered Market and St. Anthony), otherwise you can park outside the ZTL, about 15 min walk from my house. Registration Details IT054039C204019354
