The two Admiral Riverside Studios are independently located from the main house, which was built in the 1850s. Enjoy the spectacular sunrises, birds, seals, and boats from the comfort of your Studio. The Admiral Riverside Studios are tastefully and thoughtfully appointed, and within a few minutes walk to everything that Goolwa has to offer, including Hectors on the Wharf, Goolwa Markets, the Fleurieu Distillery, Wharf Barrel Shed and Signal Point Art Gallery. Standing on the highest point of the Murray riverbank, this Goolwa landmark property is located adjacent to the wharf in the heritage-listed area of the township. Both Admiral Riverside Studios offer well-appointed accommodations with queen bed and ensuite, flat screen smart tv, minibar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Settle onto the verandah and feel your stress melt away watching the never-ending spectacle of light and shadow playing across the water stretched out before you. Enjoy the thrill of the yacht racing, the beauty of the pelicans and the majesty of the Oscar W paddle steamer, or venture 5 minutes up the road to Bashams Beach and look for the whales. Moor your boat at the public marina in front of the property or walk down to the wharf and jump on one of the many boats that cruise the Coorong and Lower Murray.
