Comfortable, fully-furnished, friendly cottage; close to the Waiouru Military Camp and the National Army Museum. An ideal base for snow sports on Ruapehu; your choice of Tukino or Turoa, both a short drive away. We are at the southern gateway to the Rangipo Desert, Kaimanawa Forest Park, Tongariro National Park - and much else besides. Spectacular mountain views. The space The cottage is warm, private and fully-equipped, comfortable and user-friendly. The beds are good, the hot water is endless, and the WiFi is free. Guest access The property is surrounded by a large area of lawn and there are extensive decks on the North and East sides of the house - all of which you are welcome to use. Plenty of angles from which to enjoy our unsurpassed view of Mount Ruapehu.
