The space Dating back to 1656, The Old Farmhouse is a picture perfect former Lakeland Farmhouse with plenty of space and 3 main bedrooms upstairs: en-suite master king bedroom plus sofa bed for 1 person, en-suite king bedroom, twin bedroom plus downstairs second lounge/snug room with sofa bed for 1 person - maximum 8 people occupancy. Parking for 2 cars at the rear of the property in the mews courtyard which is shared with other properties which we let for holidays at the Old Farmhouse Mews. Enter into the spacious kitchen with Aga (electric), integral cooker and ceramic hob with an abundance of kitchen units, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and double Belfast sink and kitchen table. The kitchen leads to a hallway and then the main lounge/dining room is a very long room with wooden beamed ceiling. Half of the room is the lounge area with large fabulous Inglenook feature fireplace with woodburner & quality leather sofa seating with TV/DVD. The other half of the room has a banquet style 8 seater dining table. There is also a small separate room/snug off the hall with TV and sofabed for 1 person which can be used as a separate lounge for those wanting their own space. Carrying on through the lounge/snug brings you to your own private patio area with seating. There is also a small outdoor area at the front of the property where there is a table for 2. Upstairs: 2 king-size double bedrooms (1 with sofa bed for 1 person) both en-suite with showers, and 1 twin bedroom. All bedrooms are spacious, have ample storage and TVs. The 3rd bathroom is a separate large bathroom with a traditional claw footed bath complete with free standing double sized shower. Guest access All of the Old Farmhouse and the outdoor patio is for your private use. The washing machine is in the central laundry and drying room (utility room) shared with our other cottages which also has dryers and airers and hangers for drying. The Old Farmhouse is set in a courtyard mews setting with other cottages we let for holidays.
