Relax in style at Tai Timu, a fabulous modern beach house with stunning seaviews. The house has been cleverly designed to capture as much of the sun as possible from morning to sunset, and provide shelter from the afternoon sea breeze. The space Relax in style at Tai Timu! This modern beach house has been cleverly designed to capture as much of the sun as possible from morning to sunset. The main open plan living area is 55 square metres and consists of a kitchen, dining area and living area. With large sliding glass doors and windows there are stunning sea views from this area. The designer kitchen is kitted out with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and gas hob. The black granite island has bar stools so is a great area to keep the cook company! The walnut dining table seats 6 guests and dimmer switches ensure that lighting can be controlled in the evenings. Down a couple of steps is the casual living area with leather sofa and chairs facing the woodburner. The formal living room has cream sofas, a smart TV and DVD player and stereo. It has lovely views of the garden, sea and Abel Tasman monument as well as bifold doors which open up onto the front deck. All three bedrooms have queen beds. The master bedroom has sliding doors onto the front deck and large windows facing the sea - a perfect view for a cup of tea in bed in the morning. The master also has a TV and luxurious ensuite. The two spacious guest bedrooms have rural views to the hills at the rear. One is adjacent to the family shower room, the other has its own separate toilet and vanity. To the rear is another large deck with access to the parking area. This deck has an outside dining table and benches and a BBQ in a covered alcove. The rear deck has lovely views of the hills and provides great shelter when the afternoon sea breeze comes because of the large glass doors on both sides of the living area you can still see through the living area to the sea! All the facilities required for a great holiday are here including stand up paddle boards and open kayaks. Free wifi, board games, DVDs, books and magazines, a stereo and smart TV are also available. There is plenty of parking for cars and boats. Special conditions: Tai Timu is not suitable for children under the age of 15 or dogs. Minimum stay 5 nights. Smoking is allowed outside only. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests (no tents, campervans, caravans or parties please). Guest access Guests have access to all areas of the house and garden. Other things to note Our water is tank water collected from rainfall. It is therefore appreciated that guests are mindful of this and don't leave taps running whilst brushing teeth or doing dishes and keep showers short.
