Take a walk up the hill to the Nelson Bay lighthouse (350m from boat ramp) and soak up the 180 degree water views while enjoying tea and scones at the tea rooms, or visit the museum in the 1875 lighthouse cottage. Nelson bay and Shoal Bay are just a short 2km drive from the unit.
