The space Within the privileged enclave of the Sierra de Guadarrama (Natural Park), and only 1 hour from Madrid, you will be in an authentic rural village of the few that still exist in the region, with just over 20 residents and surrounded by orchards and meadows where cattle graze (main activity of the area). A perfect place to enjoy and disconnect both in summer and winter, for the comforts of the house, for the excellent local cuisine and for the large number of outdoor activities offered by the area: extensive pine forests with streams and recreational areas where you can pick boletus and all kinds of mushrooms; go horseback riding and donkey rides; go hiking or mountain biking, enjoy the Aceña Reservoir, or simply stroll. The house has been built on an old stone barn, fully rehabilitated, preserving its one-meter-thick walls, which makes it cool in summer and warm in winter. Noble and original materials have been used in the renovation, such as old wooden beams or old hydraulic mosaics; and for its subsequent decoration, furniture and farming elements have been restored. Guest access Fully independent house, all areas are private. A few meters from the house there is a playground and exercise area for adults. Other things to note -Keep in mind that the 2nd bedroom is not a room for use, but is an open space, also on the first floor, and that it overlooks the living room through the railing that can be seen well in the photos. It can be used as a work, reading, or living area, or as a bedroom, transforming the sofa into a double bed of 1.35. -If your stay is long and you want to hire a cleaning service during it, ask us. -If you are traveling with a baby and you will need a crib, please let us know beforehand so you can find it in the main room upon arrival.
