Winslow Cottage is a delightful cosy cottage located in the Gwavas quarter of Newlyn and with links to the American maritime artist Homer Winslow. Perched above the harbour the first floor offers stunning views across Mounts Bay to St Michael's Mount and beyond. It's perfect for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing break . Ideally situated to explore the delights of West Cornwall. The space A wonderful retreat for two but if you have a recent addition to your family we can provide a travel cot and high chair on request. There is a small seated area to enjoy a glass or two outside on those balmy evenings. This is a shared path with the neighbours but is gated to ensure safety for dogs and children. The cottage is ideally situated to explore both Newlyn, Mousehole and Penzance and the spectacular coast and unspoilt areas of the beautiful West Penwith. Dogs are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon! ​ Other things to note Parking is available at Sandy cove beach car park where there is plenty of parking. You can purchase a weekly permit from the pay and display machines at very reasonable rates. The carpark is a short 10 minute walk from the cottage. Please note this route involves walking uphill. However there is a closer car park - St. Peter’s hill- but you will need to pay for parking during the day ( evenings and overnight free from 6pm) but spaces are limited. There is also free on street parking up the hill from the cottage but again spaces are limited. We are happy to accept your furry friends with each booking at an extra charge of £25 per dog to cover the extra cleaning cost. Please note the dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs and please make sure that they are thoroughly cleaned and towelled off before allowing them in the house.
