Asteraki Poolside Apartment is an exciting, modern and airy first-floor apartment sleeping up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Ideally located just steps away from the beach of Acharavi, provided with a large private balcony with sea-views and air-conditioned, this sweet apartment is the perfect choice for families or friends looking for a truly Greek holiday without the need to rely constantly on a car as a wide array of facilities is within easy walking distance. Asteraki Poolside Apartment is set on the first (and upper) floor and has its own independent entrance. It has been modernly furnished and decorated to offer a superior holiday experience. Entrance via the private staircase is on to the spacious lounge with fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There is wi-fi internet, a comfortable sofa-bed, as well as a satellite TV (free channels). Large widows open on the terrace and provide beautiful views to the sea. The apartment has 2 airy bedrooms, one with double bed and one with single bed, as well as a family shower room. For the lovers of outdoor living, Asteraki Poolside Apartment also offers to its guest a huge sea and pool facing terrace furnished with table, chairs and swing: a truly idyllic place to enjoy al-fresco meals or watch the sunset over the sea. A shared laundry area is available on the premises, at a small extra charge (euros 5 per washing, including soap, payable locally). Outside, the property is surrounded by amazing manicured gardens with lawn, tall trees, chill-out areas and hammocks. It is a truly amazing place to relax after a long day on the beach or by the pool. A brick-built barbecue is also provided for delicious charcoal grilled meals. Guests have free access to the swimming pool located next to the apartment, which also has a pool bar open during the summer months and features a children section, free sunbeds and shades. Please note that the swimming pool is not part of our complex, is independently run and our guests have free access to it. The pool opens from the first week of May until the last week of October. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes everything, and no extras are required locally. Air-conditioning, wi-fi internet, regular maid service with change of linen (once a week) and towels (twice a week). A refundable security deposit of euros 200 is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
