Located 5 minutes walk from the central city, it has 8 bedrooms to accommodate your group or team. Lovingly renovated with a large fully equipped kitchen, dining room, enclosed heated outdoor dining area, garden, sunny lounge, and a boardroom/games/media room to suit. Perfect for family gatherings, corporate meetings and retreats, sports teams, and wedding accommodation. The space The Eco Villa was built in 1910 and has been beautifully renovated, keeping many original features and recycling or repurposing much of the timber. All rooms are different sizes and beds can be configured into superking or singles in most of the rooms to suit your group. The house, although large suited us very well for a family wedding with good spaces for grandparents and grandchildren as well as those in between! A great location too. Kitchen was great and was well equipped Guest access The whole house and garden is exclusively yours, we only host one group at a time. We do have an onsite caretaker who lives in a cottage at the back of the property, you may see them coming and going from time to time and they are available for assistance but will otherwise leave you to enjoy the villa. Other things to note Sorry, we do not host hens or stags parties! For you group we have different bedding options: We can set up most of the rooms with twin or superking beds, just let us know your requirements - here's our standard layouts: Upstairs: The Rimu (ensuite) - Super King bed The Oak (ensuite) - Super King bed The Jarrah (shared bathroom) - Super King bed The Oregon (shared bathroom) - Super King bed The Cedar - 1 Super King and 1 Queen size bed Downstairs The Kauri (ensuite) - Double Bed The Kahikatea (shared bathroom) - Double Bed The Matai (shared bathroom) - 1 Super King plus 1 Single bed All our Super king beds are able to be split into two single beds on request. The first two rooms are free of charge, any additional rooms are charged at $20 per room. The Cedar and Oak rooms can also fit one rollaway bed each; and the Oak has an additional fold out couch (suitable for one adult only, or two children). We also have two cots available for guest use. Please note there is a $20 fee for any additional bedding to be set up. City Sounds – This townhouse is located in a vibrant city setting, close to roads and intersections, so you'll hear the typical sounds of city life—like people walking by, cars passing, and the occasional siren. Closing the windows helps create a much quieter indoor space, and for light sleepers, we recommend bringing along earplugs just in case.
