Description

18th century charming summer residence close to Dubrovnik The space Movie-set like property set amidst lush trees on sprawling green lawn just outside of Dubrovnik. Built in the 2nd half of the 18th century Villa Theodora has a soul and timeless charm as well as its own chapel. The grounds ooze relaxation and serenity covered in green Mediterranean flora. Dressed in authentic Croatian limestone the villa features a specious balcony overlooking the trees and a lovely, shaded veranda is ideal for enjoying warm summer evenings. A round shaped pool is there to cool down in the summer heat and plenty of outdoor dining is available for summer picnics. The premises are perfect for families with children as there is, what seems to be, unlimited space to run around and play a match of football.  With four bedrooms eight adult guests are comfortably accommodated. Čilipi is a small village, 20 kilometers Southeast of Dubrovnik, where local customs, folk costumes and traditional embroidery are integrated in locals’ daily lives. A local museum exhibits such examples and the summer festival displays cultural performances and traditional dances. Venture up to infamous city Dubrovnik which just may be the most popular destination on the Adriatic coast, for a good reason. Formed in seventh century and since scarred by many of its rulers today it displays a rich cultural history and historical significance. Protected by UNESCO pedestrian only charming Old Town is enveloped in 10th century city walls, 2 kilometers in length, in some parts 6 meters tall. It is a must stroll! Stradun, or Dubrovnik’s placa, is a picturesque street lined with cafés and restaurants, a perfect view point to admire the architecture and watch the world go by while enjoying fresh catch of the day and sipping on a glass of Malvazija. Welcome to Dalmatia! Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: 10% rate discount is offered on stays 7 nights or longer. Please no groups of under 25 years old. Please inquire about pets. Villa Theodora is happy to host your next special event. Please reach out for details.
