Rustic, cosy, and clean 3 bedroom mudbrick cabin. Enjoy spectacular views from the escarpment looking out over the Colo River. Beyond the rustic charm Colo Mudbrick Cabin has everything you’d expect in a modern 3 bedroom home including air-conditioning, full kitchen, BBQ, excellent WIFI , and Netflix! The main bedroom is located upstairs in the loft, with 2 small bedrooms downstairs. A sofabed is also available. Extra feature: full outdoor bathroom including a bath overlooking the river. The space Isolated on a country road with 8 acres of space to roam in beautiful Lower Portland. The cabin is set on a sandstone escarpment above the Colo River, surrounded by bush and native gardens. The yard is fully enclosed with a farm fence including gate access to the car park, top paddock, and the cliff. Supervision of children will be required as the gates are not child proof. Start your day with breakfast on the deck taking in the view. Enjoy the birds visiting the garden and watch out for other local wildlife. Take a walk along the country road or be adventurous and trek down to the river. Pick some herbs from the veggie garden and cook up something delicious. Get cosy next to the log fire and put on a good movie or pull out the board games. Eat, sleep, relax, and enjoy! Guest access Cabin and surrounding yard - yours for your stay. Phone signal is not great but you can use Wifi calling and get a text message out with Telstra. Shared space - Carport, Veggie garden, top paddock, dunny and 8 acres of bush. Please be cautious near the cliff edge. Maintain one body length from the edge and always supervise children. Keep all the gates closed. Your welcome to cook with herbs and edible flowers from the veggie patch. Please leave the bush as you found it - do not remove plants, rocks, or animals from our property or surrounding areas. Other things to note Our property is no smoking, no extra visitors, and no parties. Only the number of guests you have booked for is allowed. Day visitors or services are not allowed unless specific approval is given by the host. The feature staircase up to the loft bedroom may not be suitable for toddlers and those experiencing mobility issues. Small- medium size dogs may be permitted after consultation with the host. They can be off lead in the cabin yard but must be on a leash anywhere else on the property. Insects are a part of the Australian bush. You may like to bring mozzie/fly spray.
