Spacious cottage easy walk to Deal town and beach.

Somerley is a spacious home built in the early 1800's in Deal's historic conservation area, a few minutes walk from the beach and town centre with its wide selection of shops and restaurants and train. Championship golf courses, London, Canterbury and even France are within easy reach. The house is equipped with everything you might need for your visit. The private courtyard garden leading from the kitchen offers a lovely space to sit outside and enjoy coffee and meals. Free on street parking. The space Somerley is a period cottage with many original features. It is situated on a quiet street and the windows are double glazed so even though we are so close to the town it is a peaceful place to stay. The recently updated kitchen with its range cooker makes self catering simple. We have equipped the house so that you should feel at home during your stay. There is an ample supply of cooking utensils and plates and glasses etc. We provide a few basic staples, condiments etc There is a small table in the kitchen for coffee and breakfast as well as a spacious dining room. You might prefer to eat out in the courtyard garden, and enjoy the water feature. We provide outdoor plates and cups . The single bedroom has a useful bathroom sink The bedrooms have black out blinds for late sleepers! The beds will be freshly made in anticipation of your stay using season appropriate duvets. (There are extra bedspreads in case it gets chilly) The house is centrally heated with radiators and it is a cosy home with a gas fire in the sitting room Guest access The entire house. Other things to note There is a tumble dryer in the cellar which guests may use The cellar steps are steep and the cellar is closed off with a door but younger children should be supervised when using the cellar. The cellar has a low ceiling. There is a ‘pac n play’ style cot and a high chair which may be requested. Guests will need to provide their own bedding for the cot. We provide bathroom towels but ask that guests bring their own beach/swimming towels The ceilings in the kitchen and the bathroom are lower than usual due to the age of the cottage.
