Lake Iseo: views, privacy, pool & air conditioning

Our modern and luxuriously furnished apartment with professional air conditioning, pool, fast Wi-Fi, and private garage is located in Tavernola Bergamasca by Lake Iseo (Italian Lake District). Enjoy the peace of nature, Lake Iseo, and Monte Isola from the spacious terrace with plenty of privacy. Lake Iseo has not yet been affected by mass tourism. In the village center, you will find all basic amenities: bakeries, butcher, small supermarkets, 3 bars, 4 restaurants, etc. The space Enjoy the peace and quiet in a luxurious and fully furnished holiday home on the beautiful Lake Iseo, located in the Italian Lake District, between Lake Garda and Lake Como. Our house is situated in the lively village of Tavernola Bergamasca. It is equipped with air conditioning and has a lovely swimming pool. Around the lake, you won’t encounter mass tourism. In our house, you are guaranteed relaxation and privacy, surrounded by a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Iseo, which can be admired from the spacious terrace (we are 100 meters above water level). Use our convenient electric sunshade and enjoy the outdoors with our complete garden set and sun loungers. You can also prepare delicious meals on the Weber barbecue. Discover authentic Italy, far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, and immerse yourself in the unique charm of Lake Iseo. Enjoy the stunning views of Monte Isola, the largest island in a lake in Europe, and the smaller islands Isola di Loreto and Isola di San Paolo. Casa Moia is part of a quiet complex of 12 houses, mainly used by Italians as holiday homes. In the center of Tavernola, you can find all the basic amenities: bakeries, butcher, small supermarkets, 3 bars, 4 restaurants, hairdressers, doctor, pharmacy, and 'tabacco'. The center and the nearest beach are less than a 5-minute drive from our place. Take advantage of the free parking spaces and a private garage. The holiday home is luxuriously finished, and the kitchen is fully equipped. In practice, there are never many people at the complex because most of the apartments are owned by (older) Italians, who use them as second homes to stay (sometimes) on weekends. The pool is in use from (at least) mid-May to (end of) September. In 2016, there was a 'front-row' view of the world-famous artwork Floating Piers: it was a temporary artwork on the water of Lake Iseo by Christo, consisting of 70,000 square meters of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes. Flying to our house is possible via Bergamo Orio al Serio with, for example, Ryanair. The airport is just a half-hour drive (by car) from our house! There are numerous (sports) activities possible around the lake: cycling, road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, kayaking, sailing, and skiing in the winter (45 min drive). Shopping and visiting cities are all within reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 shops with the most famous brands and real outlet prices. The covered shopping center Elnoss in Brescia is also great, hundreds of shops, a 45-minute drive away. As well as Orio Center; hundreds of covered shops near Bergamo airport. We are Dutch owners and have local help from Mara (an Italian lady who lives nearby). Of course, we remain available at all times for guests if there is anything. SAFETY: - A very comprehensive first aid kit is available. - In accordance with Italian rental regulations, 6-liter foam extinguishers with a fire rating of 34A/233B and a fire blanket are provided. - We have ELRO FS461011 smoke detectors that comply with the NEN-EN 14604 standard. - We have an Alecto COA3910 carbon monoxide detector in the house (EN50291-1:2018 standard). - We also have a Nedis gas detector in the house (NEN-EN 14604:2005/C1:2008 certification). Guest access The guests can use the entire accommodation. The swimming pool is used by the residents of the total of 12 apartments in the complex 'Il balcone sul lago'. The swimming pool is open from 15 May to the end of September. Other things to note We have a comprehensive 40-page information document about the house and the surrounding area. We always send this after booking. ⚠ Important points to note: ⚠ - There is a pool regulation. - Our house is not suitable for people with disabilities and is not equipped for babies. - You reach the house via a staircase going down (4x 8 'lazy' steps) and the house itself has two floors which you access via an internal lazy staircase of 10 steps, so if you have significant mobility issues, this might not be comfortable. - The road to our house is 600 meters long and on average 15% steep.
