We bought this house in 2009 with the intention of living there as a family and completely remodeled and renovated throughout the house. We used only high quality materials and equipments throughout. The appliances speak to you in Japanese. (For those who do not speak Japanese, we provide all manuals in English!). Go to Komazawa Olympic Park, Baji Park, Kinuta Park by free rental bikes that we provide at the house. You can use the bikes for shopping as they have a large baskets and they are convenient for carrying shopping bags. Central Library is 3 min walk, and they have a planetarium and an outdoor large koi fish pond. Golf practice range is 1 min walk away! For group more than 7 people you book, we offer free Sento/Yakuyu (water that has health benefits like hot spring) tickets. For example, if you have a group of 9, we will reimburse up to 2 tickets a day. The nearest Sento is located 800 meters away and it is less than 5 minutes bike ride. Going to Sento is one of the best way to experience Japan and rare experience you can have during your stay in Japan. It is 3000 yen a person and we believe the children under 6 ride for free. You can take a public transportation or take a taxi from there. They also sell a book that contain 10 limousine tickets for a cheaper price. (URL HIDDEN) If you are coming from Haneda with a big group, we can arrange a jumbo taxi service. It will cost about $200/one way that includes "meet service" that the driver will hold a sign for your group to pick you up at the gate. Please contact us if you would like us to add the service. For a group of 6, for example, it will be around 2500 yen a person and it is definitely cost effective and most convenient way to get to the house. If you are coming with a smaller group, we recommend to use a limousine bus service from the airport to Shibuya, or Futagotamagawa and take a taxi from there to get to the house. The house is located in a convenient, but very quiet, family friendly neighborhood. The nearest Sakurashinmachi station is 9 minutes from Shibuya station and it is about 10 minute walk from Sakurashinmachi station to the house. The guests have an access to the entire house except for closets we use for storage. We ask guests not to access for their safety. Other things to note We are updating the interior and have been purchasing new sets of furnitures/beds. The floors have been recently waxed. We use Professional/commercial cleaner and laundry service to provide the guests fresh, hotel quality linens and towels. Free rental bikes are included. Free 2 car parking space on site.
