Originally one of the first shops in Nannup and now a part of the Nannup Heritage Trail. This quaint cottage has old world charm with all original features such as tongue in groove wood walls and elevated ceilings, jarrah floors, cosy kitchen with ornate original Metters stove, original metal claw bath and pedestal sink, jarrah, pressed-tin and zincalume feature walls. It is a bit like walking into yesteryear. The furnishings are a fun retro-chic style in each room. The space This heritage cottage is located in Nannup's town centre just 1 minute from cafes and shops and only 40 min drive to tourist towns such as Margaret River, Balingup & Pemberton. The front verandah of Poppy's Place opens out to the main street and is a favourite for our guests. It is a great place to sit and you will feel like a part of the community whilst sipping your cup of tea. Feel the wonderful energy and fall in love with this beautiful cottage, quirks and all. The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps 5 people comfortably. There is a bathroom with bath, toilet and handbasin. There is a separate shower room. There is a step into the laundry/bathroom area. Heating in winter: there is a reverse cycle heater/airconditioner in the front part of the house, and another in the second bedroom. Between the two they heat the whole house. There are electric blankets on each bed and each bedroom has an oil filled heater. There is also an electric heater in the bathroom. Extra blankets are on the beds as well as doonas. There is room in the back yard for a game of cricket or to throw a ball. The front of the house is fenced from the road, however there is no fence at the rear of the property. Other things to note Please note that there is a step up to the laundry and bathroom.
