Ivy Cottage is a hidden gem tucked away on the picturesque site of Camden Farm in West Oxfordshire. The space Ivy Cottage is a stylish Cotswold holiday cottage situated within the picturesque grounds of Camden Farm near, near the historic market town of Faringdon and Lechlade-on-Thames. This three bedroom cottage has been styled to create a warm and cosy 'farmhouse' atmosphere and offers an excellent standard of fittings and furnishings throughout. With underfloor heating, a log burning stove in the living room, country views from all windows, a wood fired hot tub and riverside walks on the doorstep, Ivy Cottage is an ideal property to escape to for some peace and quiet away from your busy life! Should you wish to increase the size of your party, Ivy Cottage is part of a larger estate with multiple accommodation options. Accommodation This three bedroom dog friendly holiday cottage is ideally suited for a countryside escape with family or friends. The accommodation is laid out as follows: Ground Floor Kitchen/dining room Country kitchen with large fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetière, washing machine, tumble dryer, double oven and gas hob Farmhouse dining table with seating for six French doors leading to garden Living room One three-seater sofa, one two-seater sofa, armchair with footstool, Smart TV and wood burning stove Cloakroom Loo and basin Bedroom 2 with ensuite (Sleeps 2) A few steps leading to bedroom with super king size bed (can be twin beds on request), two bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe with hangers and built-in full length mirror, chest of drawers, fan and chair Ensuite with rain shower and separate hand held shower attachment, loo and basin Dressing room and ensuite, leading to Bedroom 3 on First Floor (Sleeps 2) Chest of drawers, wall hooks with hangers and armchair Ensuite with rain shower and separate hand held shower attachment, loo and basin Stairs leading to first floor bedroom with double bed, two bedside tables and fan First Floor Bedroom 1 with ensuite (Sleeps 2) King size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, built-in wardrobe with hangers, dressing table and wall mirror Ensuite across the hallway with rain shower and separate hand held shower attachment, loo and basin Outside Ivy cottage sits on a rural farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage has its own dedicated outside space with outdoor seating, sun loungers, charcoal BBQ and a wood fired hot tub Additional facilities Camden Farm Barns comprises seven properties in total and boasts a large estate complete with football pitch and canopy covered open games space, great for rainy day activities including ping pong and table football. Being just a short walk from the river, during spring and summer guests can rent a paddle board or hire the ex-MOD truck, 'The Goose', which sits on the riverbank, great for a picnic or BBQ. From August 2025, a six-person infrared sauna with shower will be available (see Finer Details) All of these facilities are offered on a complimentary basis, and are bookable upon arrival at Camden Farm Barns, subject to availability and weather conditions Guest access Guest access information is provided in the welcome letter Other things to note The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants (aged 2 or under) Bed linen and towels are provided Off street parking is available for up to 4 cars 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) 2 medium sized dogs are welcome for an additional £60 per booking per dog. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs Strong WiFi Mobile phone reception is generally ok Smart TV Enclosed lawn garden Charcoal BBQ supplied between April and September (starter supply of charcoal provided and guests are responsible for cleaning BBQ after use) Wood fired hot tub seating up to 6 guests (starter wheelbarrow of wood provided and additional wood can be supplied by the farm for £20 per wheelbarrow) Underfloor central heating system Starter supply of wood provided for the wood burning stove from October to April only Ivy Cottage is part of a larger estate Camden Farm where there are neighbouring holiday lets and farm machinery from time to time Use of the additional facilities is provided for guests' enjoyment on a complimentary basis, bookable on arrival and subject to availability From 1st Augsut 2025 the sauna can be booked for an hour's slot between 9am and 8pm, subject to availability and safety guidelines Guests are requested to bring their own towels to use the hot tub, sauna and paddle boards The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property Things to Note... Hen and Stag groups are not permitted Events are not permitted without prior consent A security deposit is required at this property Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00 Complimentary EV charging point (shared between other properties on site and restricted use of 6hrs per day per car)
