Tradition and coziness: Imagine how our grandparents lived. Welcome to Weissgerbergütl anno 1583. At that time, a furrier lived here, later white and black dyers inhabited the house for many generations. At the turn of the century there was a carpenter's shop in the commercial part and a master watchmaker lived in the main house. The house has been restored and renovated. We have used organic building materials, so the house is well suited for allergy sufferers. The space Central and very nice quiet and slightly mountainous location in the artists' quarter of Alt-Marquartstein with fantastic views of the Alpine panorama near Hochgern. Hiking opportunities right from the house directly to the alpine pastures and mountains as well as to the Salzalpensteig. The guest area is 64 sqm. Guests and we residents use the same house entrance and the common hallway. We also live in the house. On the ground floor is the cozy vaulted kitchen with a seating area for the guests. There is a small cooking corner with 2 hotplates, a kettle, toaster, coffee maker. The restored wooden staircase leads to the 2nd floor to the 2 adjacent private guest rooms plus the guest bathroom. There is a double bed in each room. There is a large guest room and a small guest room. These are connected to each other with a door and can also be locked individually. Upstairs next to the guest rooms there is also a balcony with 4 seats and 2 tables that can be folded up. Info as an option: For a 5th or 6th person, another vacation room with 10 sqm can be booked via Airbnb. This allows a group of up to 6 people to vacation here. If you are interested, please check in advance whether the additional room is still available. Guest access Shared entrance and hallway and stairs with the host family. Guests are allowed to use any seat in the garden, depending on the position of the sun. There are cushions for the chairs and garden loungers, the grill can be used, bicycles can be parked. Children are also allowed to romp around on the large meadow and play ball. Blankets for playing on the meadow are also available. Dogs have a run here. (Info: On request, a dog costs an additional €15 per day). The garden is quiet. Laundry can also be washed on request, dryer €2 and laundry €2. Other things to note Non-smoking house, smoking only possible in the garden. Dogs can be brought along. One dog costs €15 per night.
