Litoria is a pavilion home tucked against reserve, about 150m from the beach. You’ll love Litoria’s breezeway and living pod that opens to capture the sea breezes. With 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a fully fenced yard, Litoria provides the perfect getaway for couples or small families (including the furry kind). Kids love the free splash pad, skate park and playground (5–10min walk away) and the free access to the aquatic centre. Ask us about our free pool passes! The space Litoria was designed for holidaying in the tropics—the perfect place to relax with family and friends. We’ve done many road trips staying in some great holiday houses and we wanted to include the best bits in our little piece of paradise. Whether you’re escaping the hustle and bustle for a weekend or wanting to stay a little longer, Litoria is more than just a place to lay your head—it’s a tropical holiday experience. Experience nature without compromising your creature comforts with the modern open plan design. You’ll enjoy rainforest and garden views from the kitchen, living and dining building (pod) which opens up onto the outdoor living area—the heart of the house. Why not whip up a gourmet dinner in the fully equipped kitchen (down to the kitchen scales), throw a sausage on the barbecue on the undercover patio or brew up an early morning coffee and enjoy the birdsongs on the back deck before the rest of the house rises! At Litoria the indoors merge with the out, providing a relaxed resort feel. Living and bedroom pods are connected by a decked breezeway, interspersed with gardens and a water feature, which captures the cool sea breezes. Our modern bathroom also embraces our tropical surrounds, opening up onto private garden courtyards. Fully pet friendly with concrete floors and fences, there is no need to leave your furry friend at home. We allow pets indoors but not on the furniture. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if your pets have been on the furniture. Pet bowls are also provided. We provide a welcome kit on arrival with dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, toilet paper, hand wash and shower gel—just enough to get you started. There is a Woolworths supermarket 5mins drive around the corner. Configuration As a pavilion home our bedrooms are spread over two pods (buildings), however for those needing just 2 bedrooms we offer access to just one of the bedroom pods at a reduced nightly rate. You will still have exlusive use of the property, but access to one bedroom pod only. The main bedroom pod has two bedrooms, ensuite, powder room and laundry (with washer and dryer). All bedrooms have air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, security screens on opening windows, a wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. Note: while there is a separate powder room with toilet and basin in the main bedroom pod, if you choose this option then all visitors will need to share the shower in the ensuite. Main bedroom pod Master bedroom (sleeps 2)—1 x queen bed, ensuite with private garden courtyard, walk-in-robe and television. Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2)—1 x double bed On request, you can opt to stay in the second bedroom pod instead. This pod has 2 bedrooms (bedroom 3 has 1 x queen bed and a television, bedroom has 2 x single beds). Both have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, security screens on opening windows, a wardrobe and bedside tables and lamps. However, this will mean no access to a laundry during your stay. If this option suits you better, you must confirm with Melissa prior to booking. As a pavilion home we are able to provide different sleeping options at appropriate price points. Guest access As our guests you will have exclusive access to the house (excluding second bedroom pod) and fenced gardens. Other things to note As with many seaside towns, mobile phone coverage does vary with provider and location depending on tower signals. If you are with Telstra or Optus you will experience the best coverage. Unfortunately, mobile phone coverage can be an issue for Vodafone users. with our free Wi-Fi, you can access Wi-Fi calling on your mobile while in the house. Woolworths supermarket opens six days a week, but it’s closed on Sunday’s. There is a mini-mart and fruit shop, located in the main Mission Beach township, that open on Sunday’s for any essential supplies. Mission Beach has some great cafes and restaurants spread across the four seaside villages. Most are only small, so we recommend you make reservations especially for dinner.
