Description
Self-catering accommodation in the beautiful department of Tarn. Situated in one of the most scenic regions of the south-west of France in the Parc Naturel Regional Du Haut-Languedoc, in the foothills of the Montagne Noire. There are walking and mountain biking trails criss-crossing every corner of the park. The area has many beautiful sparkling lakes. The beautiful towns of Catres & Mazamet are 20 mins away. Carcassonne airport is 1hour south. Toulouse airport 1 hour west. The space Description of the holiday home : Renovated stone farmhouse located in the little hameau of Lingonie. The village of Cambounes is 7/8 minutes walk from the house. The maximum number of guests : 3 Comprised of 2 main rooms : • Livingroom with corner kitchen area, Sofa, table and chairs, wood stove. There are french doors which open onto the raised wooden terrace area. • The corner kitchen is equipped with a 2 ring hob, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, filter coffee machine, and cooking utensils. • The bedroom has a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190). Bed linen is provided. There are 2 windows which look out over the terrace and a Velux roof window. The bathroom is beside the bedroom and is comprised of a full bath with shower in the bath. • There is a small outhouse with a washing machine available for all of our guests. Description of the exterior: • The house is located on the GR36 walking trail. • Our neighbours are farmers with sheep, cows, ducks and chickens etc. near by. • We have 2 dogs and a cat. • The house is part of a typical groupement of 3 stones houses, of which one is our own main home. There is a 4th detached house on the other side of the trail. The house does not have a garden but there are numerous trails and hills only a few metres away. • The house has the exclusive use of a raised wooden terrace, with table and chairs and a barbeque. • The house is semi-detached with another house with a window which overlooks the wooden terrace. However the other house has it's own outside terrace area on the other side of the house.
