'Le Farat – Country House' Stone Cottage

Le Farat - Maison de Campagne (4* rated 2022 by the Tourist Board of France) is a renovated 175m2 luxury two bedroom property which boasts a private garden overlooking extensive grounds, lake and countryside beyond. There is also a 12m x 6m pool and very well-equipped games room. Auvillar is certified as one of France's prettiest villages 'Plus beaux villages de France' and is ideally situated to explore SW France. The space Deceptive from the outside, this cottage offers a wealth of space for comfortable living. It has a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area that opens up onto a private terrace with garden furniture, parasols and BBQ. The lounge area has a large flat screen TV with freesat and dvd player as well as a games console and free wifi. For those who wish to spend winter away from home we have added a wood burner to make sure you are sung and warm. There is a large downstairs walk-in shower room with twin sinks and loo as well as a full bathroom upstairs. The bedrooms are designed with comfort and style in mind. After all, a good nights sleep is most important! Just a stone's throw away from a fantastic and reasonably priced restaurant, you don't have to cook if you don't want too, the restaurant even offer a delivery service! Guest access Guests have shared access to our 12x6m saltwater pool, fully equipped games room with air hockey, table tennis, table football and dartboard. Equally, there is access to the 5 acre grounds and private fishing lake. Fishing rods and bikes are available to hire on request. Other things to note Our gîte is available on a weekly basis in the summer months or for short stays the rest of the year.
