Pet friendly Coconut Cottage is a relaxed and peaceful, renovated 1950's beach house with a large rear deck and a private & tranquil fully fenced tropical backyard. There are comfortable, quality beds, lovely linen & vintage items, artworks & furniture throughout. Complimentary fast Wifi (NBN) & Netflix included. Situated on a wonderfully quiet street and just an easy 2 minute stroll to beautiful Queens Beach where the beach-side walkway leads you to many cafes, restaurants, shops & beyond.. The space Coconut Cottage gives you a relaxed & carefree feeling the minute you enter through the original retro red front door. The living room has a large & comfortable corner lounge and is air conditioned (heating/cooling). From the open plan living/kitchen area, french doors open to a leafy front patio with seating, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or glass of wine. Complimentary Netflix/Wifi is included. Great wifi means you can work remotely while the family is enjoying the local area. There are two bedrooms, each one with a comfortable queen size bed and quality linen. The master bedroom has a delightful four poster bed, reverse cycle (heating/cooling) air conditioning. Each bedroom has ceiling fans. In addition to the two queen beds, there is a pull out single bed (room with a door), & also the large corner sofa sleeps two children or one adult, if required. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, a coffee machine (Nespresso pods), Smeg kettle & toaster, & an array of cooking utensils and crockery etc. Breakfast is supplied in the form of: bread (in the freezer), cereal, milk, butter, spreads, tea, herbal teas & coffee. Pantry items such as salt, pepper, spices, oil and other pantry staples are provided if you decide to cook, so you don’t have to bring the basics. The kitchen leads onto a large shady & private covered deck with relaxed seating and a large wooden table (seats 6), wonderful for alfresco dining anytime of the day. There is a gate at the top of the stairs on the deck for child safety. The bathroom is clean & modern with shower over bath. There is a grab rail installed for added safety. The toilet is in the bathroom. Other everyday items such as shampoo, conditioner, hand cleanser, soap; & linen such as, sheets, pillows, blankets, towels are all provided. The small touches are everywhere, helping to feel at home & relaxed. The laundry room is downstairs with front loading washing machine and clothes dryer. There is also a clothesline outside the laundry. The fully fenced private back yard has lush tropical foliage and a majestic old frangipani tree and macadamia nut tree. This is a perfect yard for our four legged friends. We have included a welcome book in the cottage with house info, maps, local info and restaurant recommendations. Other things to note There are many popular restaurants & cafes within walking distance, many at the bustling Redcliffe Jetty Precinct. Boats leave from the Redcliffe Jetty to Moreton Bay and whale watching (seasonal). The Redcliffe Lagoon is nearby, a wonderful place for family fun. Bee Gee Way is within walking distance and is a wonderful celebration of this groups history and connections to the Redcliffe Peninsula. Close by is the Scarborough Harbour where you can buy seafood freshly caught in Moreton Bay. Scarborough also has a great cafe precinct and the very popular 'pirate park' which is a hit with the kids. +9*
