Elegant 2 Bedroom Steps From Andrássy
Our two-bedroom, 100-square meter apartment is steps from Andrássy Avenue and Kiraly Utca in the heart of Pest. Located in the embassy district, it is ideally situated for tourists, students or people here on business. The apartment is our home when we are in Budapest, so it is of a much higher standard than a typical rental unit. It is located on the first floor of a 19th century building built in 1889. The apartment is fully equipped with all the amenities you might need, including: - lightning-fast internet - a 47" LG flat screen TV (ready for your Apple TV or personal media player) - LG sound bar and sub woofer - a fully-stocked kitchen that was custom built for the chef/owner - a formal dining room that can seat up to 12 or double as a conference room for work - an office/desk area - a full bathroom with shower and bath, and a half bath with toilet and sink. -master bedroom with 180 cm bed (similar to a king), seating area, two large wardrobes and a vanity - guest bedroom with 160 cm bed (slightly larger than a queen) with a wardrobe - sheets, towels and washing machine. Just bring your toothbrush and make yourself at home! As far as the neighborhood goes, our apartment is in the middle of the embassy district. In fact, the Spanish Embassy and the Azerbaijan Embassy are only a couple of buildings down the street from us. Our part of Eotvos street is between Kiraly street and Andrassy Avenue. Kiraly is filled with interior design and furniture stores, funky boutiques and modern art galleries, and is the trendiest part of Budapest. Király utca used to be the outer boundary of the former Jewish quarter. Gozsdu Courtyard, a series of passages and courtyards connecting Király utca and Dob utca, is also nearby. This was once the core of the Jewish quarter with stores and workshops. Today, it's a complex of restaurants and cafés. Andrássy Avenue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, runs parallel to Király utca and is only steps away. This is Embassy Row in Budapest and also houses the beautiful Opera House, several museums and it terminates at Heroes' Square. Continental Europe's oldest subway line (the M1) also runs beneath Andrássy Avenue. It is an incredibly livable area. Directly across the street is the entrance to one of the city's farmer's markets that operates six days a week. A 5-10 minute walk will put you at some of Budapest's best restaurants, and just around the corner is the Liszt Music Academy and the Opera House is a 15 minute stroll. This is also one of the most convenient locations in the city for getting around. Andrassy and Kiraly Streets give easy access to the M1 subway and the 4/6 Tram which runs in a semi-circle around Pest. The 4/6 connects to the M2, M3 and M4 subways within a few stops from the house.
