Courtyard Cottage is a beautiful recently renovated Barn conversion delicately preserving the natural stone work and charming character of the original business with touches of modern qualities from the log burner and underfloor heating to the modern kitchen and stunning bedrooms. Enjoy the glorious views from the patio garden and magnificent walks from your doorstep as you explore the North Devon countryside and only a short drive to the beach. The space From its own private entrance, the accommodation is arranged over one level. The main living area features a comfy lounge area with a huge L shaped sofa, wood-burning stove and a smart TV. A dining table comfortably seats 4 guests, ideal for leisurely meals together. A modern and stylishly presented kitchen is at the rear of the room, and is well-equipped for a stress-free self catering holiday. Appliances include an induction hob, integrated electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine. The two bedrooms include a spacious master bedroom and a twin room. The master bedroom is a large double bedroom with a king-sized bed, plenty of storage options, as well as a stylish wash basin unit. There is an ensuite shower room, fitted with a shower and WC. A large door leads out onto a lovely terrace area, perfect for a quiet morning cuppa with a book, or perhaps a cold drink in the evening. The twin room is light and bright, boasting huge windows and a two full size beds. This is serviced by a family bathroom that has a large walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside, the property has many different seating areas so guests can take full advantage of the North Devon sunshine. Outdoor tables and chairs have been provided. There is access to an outdoor hose, ideal for washing down sandy wetsuits or muddy walking boots, as well as garage storage for bikes and surfboards, so you don't have to store them in your car. Please be aware that although the accommodation is all one level, this property may still not be suitable for people with mobility issues as there are a number of steps and slopes to access the cottage. Courtyard Cottage is a pet free cottage, and does not have an enclosed garden. It is on the grounds of the owners house, who reside at The Barns. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage and four outside spaces. There is off road parking for two cars. Other things to note Due to the number of steps and slopes to access the cottage, this property might not be suitable for those with mobility issues. There is no bath tub at this property. This cottage is situated within the grounds of the owner's property. Please request a cot and highchair at time of booking. There is no additional charge, but please don't forget to bring your own cot bedding.
