This three-bedroom apartment offers style, comfort and tranquillity whilst being close to some of the best restaurants and shopping in Funchal. The open plan living room is bright and spacious with comfortable sofas, a large dining table for leisurely family dinners, and a south-facing balcony where you sip an aperitif, enjoy a sunny lunch, or star-gaze in the evening with the sound of the sea as accompaniment. The living room has Cable TV and Sonos sound system, and there is high-speed internet throughout the whole apartment. The kitchen is very slick and equipped to a much higher standard than in a typical rental property - American type fridge freezer, quality integrated appliances (induction hob, oven/grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave) with plenty of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. The apartment sleeps six guests in three generous bedrooms. The elegant master bedroom (with a super king-size bed) with a dressing area has access to a balcony with sea views. Sleep with your windows open all year round and enjoy the sound of the waves. Two other bedrooms are equally beautifully furnished - one with a king-size bed and one with two single beds. All bedrooms have blackout blinds or shutters for a restful sleep. Two modern bathrooms with large walk-in showers and designer fittings. The flat was recently totally remodelled, has wooden floors in all the rooms and has plenty of storage space. There is underground and off-street parking available to guests. This gated modern development is one of the very few private blocks located directly on the first line from the Atlantic ocean as local urban planners now only give this privilege to luxury hotels. This building sits about 40m above sea level on top of a cliff (Falésia) and has a private swimming pool overlooking the sea and luscious, well-maintained gardens. Area The city beach, Lido pools, the coastal promenade with its cafés, subtropical gardens and children’s playgrounds are all within close walking distance. Funchal’s leading and trendiest gym with modern equipment and numerous fitness classes is just five minutes walk. As is Forum Madeira, one of the best shopping centres of Madeira's capital - here you will find grocery shops, pharmacies, hairdressers, various retail shops, cinemas, etc. Getting around The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Access to property You have access to all areas of the property. Interaction We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. Other observations - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket on the property. - Cleaning during the stay is carried out weekly, as well as changing clothes, towels and consumables. If you want extra cleaning, the service will be charged separately at an affordable price. For stays of less than seven nights, weekly cleaning or changing clothes and replacing consumables will not be carried out. Rules We want you to feel at home.
