Beachcomber - absolute beach front

Our property is right on the water at beautiful Island Beach, 5kms of white sandy beach with pristine safe waters for swimming, boating or beachcombing. The property is fully self contained, making for a comfortable relaxing home away from home, with panoramic sea views from the large open plan living area and 2 of the bedrooms. Guests can spend time on the deck, surrounded by native flora and fauna, while still enjoying watching amazing sea views. Just 15 minutes from the ferry at Penneshaw The space Beachcomber is ideally situated overlooking Island Beach, just a 2 minute walk to the beach itself. The house has 3 queen bedrooms, one with ensuite and all with good sized wardrobes so you can unpack and feel right at home. The living area is spacious and enjoys stunning views of the water. there is always something different to look at, be it dolphins, boats, pelicans or the occasional whale. The beach is sandy and safe, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking or beach combing. We offer guests the use of kayaks and life jackets in season so they can get out and enjoy the water. The house itself is surrounded by native flora which is home to many animals and birds and gives a wonderful feeling of respite from the busy lives we lead. Our bird baths attract not only birds, but wallabies, kangaroos and even the occasional goanna come to drink. We love the fact that we are surrounded by native trees, which gives the feeling of being private and yet we have stunning views of the water and bay to enjoy whilst out on the deck. I love sitting out either first thing with a coffee as the sun rises, or as the last rays sink behind the land, with a cool glass of wine. Total peace and relaxation. Sometimes we need to keep in touch with the world, so we supply free wifi for guest use. There are two TVs, DVD and sound dock. A library of books, DVDs, CDs and games are supplied. Guest access When renting Beachcomber you have full use of the property and its amenities. There is safe off street parking for cars and boats. We supply a BBQ for easy cooking, games room with TV to give another spot to spread out, sundeck for relaxing and dining. Other things to note We ask guests to be mindful of water usage as all water to the property is rainwater. Please do not take long showers or leave taps running. If our rainwater supply is depleted it has to be replaced with dam water which is not as pleasant as pure rainwater. We would be grateful if guests could top up the bird bath during their stay with the bucket below the house. This encourages the wildlife to visit and have a cool drink. There is a shared clothes line behind the house. For safety reasons we ask that the neither the air-conditioner nor wood heater are left unattended.
