Description
Maro is a jewel. Unspoilt, it is a typical example of an old Spanish village on the coast. Many of the elderly people living there were born in the village. Surrounded by countryside with spectacular sea and mountain views, Maro is a sleepy village with a few bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Nerja. The house has been completely renovated in the typical Moorish style. There is free car parking in the 2 very large car parks. The house has wifi. The space The facade of the house has been preserved conforming to a heritage protection order. It is a unique example within the village. The house has been decorated and fully furnished to feel like home. It is very comfortable and has a fully fitted kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor (the shower room and one of the bedrooms are accessed from the private patio). The main double bedroom with air-conditioning and full bathroom (including spa bath and shower) are on the first floor with a private terrace area which leads down to the main private courtyard. Guest access There are restaurants, bars and a couple of food shops and a chemist in the village. You can walk to Nerja (around 35 mins) with spectacular sea views all the way. Or drive (5 mins), get the bus or a taxi. If you enjoy hiking, you can walk into the countryside within a few minutes straight from the house.
