By car : Glasgow 35 mins, Edinburgh 1 hr, Loch Lomond 10 mins, Stirling 30 mins, Perth 1 hr, Aberfoyle & Trossachs15 mins, Argyll 45 mins. Guest access Just to advise that there is an electronic vehicle gate at the entrance to Knockinreoch. If you should find the gate closed, the access code for the duration of your stay is 1963. Please note that the gate opens inwards, i.e. towards the house and will close automatically (after about 20 seconds) after the vehicle drives through - there is no need to re-enter the code to close the gate. Same applies when leaving the property. The keypad is located on the inside stone wall and can be accessed by walking through the small pedestrian gate when the larger vehicle gate is closed.
