Warego Cottage, Escape in peace to a rural setting

Warego cottage is an old renovated fully self contained, comfortably furnished Country cottage on our farm in the heart of O'Connell, which is 15 minutes to Bathurst. It has complete privacy, separate from the main homestead with it’s own entrance, which allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of it’s rural setting There are magnificent views towards the Fish river which the visitor has private access for fishing, picnics and leisurely walks The space Warego Cottage has 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds, with electric blankets, Dona’s and all linen supplied. There is also a fold up cot with bedding. The sitting room has a wood heater, air conditioning and comfortable sofas to relax on. There is a digital TV with DVD, radio, CD and Bluetooth and many magazines, books and games to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need if you are cooking a family roast or just enjoying a quick snack. There is a barbecue outside with gas supplied. The bathroom has a shower and vanity, heated towel racks, wall heater and a washing machine with washing powder supplied. The north facing verandah is a great place to relax all day especially in the evening with a glass of wine. The cottage sits in the middle of a farm where there are cattle and horses, guests are welcome to wander around enjoy the peace and tranquility especially along the Fish river. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around the property and talk to The animals All we ask is please close all gates Other things to note Fishing is available on our private stretch of the Fish river - over2kms, and at the Oberon dam and nearby Chifley dam.
