If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet get away, clear blue waters, and natural Mediterranean surroundings this is the place for you. VRNIK – small picturesque island near Korcula mainland, famous for its old stone quarries. As the story goes many famous architectures are maid from Vrnik's unique stone, the Old City of Dubrovnik, many Venetian palaces and even the White House D.C. You will find two historical churches. The first Our Lady of Succors from 1856 is next to the old school on the coast. The second Our Lady of Succors from 1674 is in front of the quarries on the northern coast. The stone quarries have long laid to rest and the silent island only comes to life when tourists fill this natural unspoiled habitat during the summer season. There are many little islands surrounding Vrnik, making it ideal to explore these deserted islands, swim, surf, and dive in solitude. Vrnik offers a unique once in a life time experience. Relax by the islands natural pebble-rocky beaches catching a glimps of the clear blue sea and the sweet salty breeze in the air that is sure to take your breath away. STONE HOUSE (124m2) - situated 5 m from the pebble beach. Upstairs you will find the 4 bedrooms - two doubles, a twin and the forth bedroom has bunk beds. Also on this level is a bathroom with shower and small terrace. Downstairs is the kitchen and living area. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven and cooking hobs. There is also a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 people (130cmX190cm). Next to the kitchen is a second terrace under the Jasmine Tree with a unique handmade stone dinning table. Communal laundry, BBQ and baby bed are available on request. For a fair rate we can organize and prepare divine tradicional cusines to truelly experience our tradicionaly customs, wine and olive oil to complete your Dalmatian dream stay.On the big terrace you have large table who is reserved for you, other tables are reserved for the fish picnic which sometimes I organize for other guests. Boat hire is available and is only a 5-10 minute trip to Lumbarda & Korcula where there are numerous amenities. It has excellent water connections to Korcula town by fast water taxi, not expensive, all times of day or night. The nearest parking place for cars is just 100 meters away on the island of Korcula at the crossroads Krmaca, you can swim to there if you want.
