You will be staying close to every important site of interest; The Acropolis and major archaeological sites are within walking distance, as is Plaka, Monastiraki and Ermou street -the downtown area for shopping- and also the nightlife spots of Gazi and the Technopolis. The neighbourhood, Thissio -also Theseion- is considered one of the most pretty areas of central Athens. It is a safe & genuine neighbourhood, part of old Athens at the heart of the city's footpath grid for pedestrians, right next to the great promenade connecting archaeological sites, and one of Athens' rare bicycle networks. Thissio remains unspoiled from by the intense 'turistification' and gentrification that Koukaki and Exarcheia are unfortunately going through. The address is quiet. The pedestrian street excludes the street traffic you would meet elsewhere. The apartment's layout consists of two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living & dining room, and three restrooms (bathroom, toilet, shower room). The family room features a day bed/platform bed and is equipped with a small book collection and children's toys and games. There are balconies on both sides for guests to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink outdoors. In all rooms the air conditioning units and the glass doors to the balcony are newly installed, as is a solar panel. Mattresses, bed sheets and kitchen utensils and the 32" smart TV set are new or mostly new.
