Live the centenary history of Madeira Embroidery in an entire floor composed of two beautiful studios, filled with details and memories of the island’s cultural heritage. The space Drapes Design Apartments occupies the former Madeira Embroidery Factory, today transformed into a modern building where each floor pays tribute to a traditional stitching technique. The third floor consists of two connected studios, each with a double bed, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchenette. Together, they accommodate up to four guests, making this floor ideal for families, couples travelling together, or guests who want more privacy. The building features a shared rooftop terrace, complete with an outdoor kitchen and seating area, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. A shared laundry room is also available for guest use. Area A few metres from this property is the Edifício Anadia, a shopping centre with several shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket, in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. A stone's throw from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore on foot the several touristic points of our beautiful city (ex. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Sé Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...). At the building's exit you have an excellent connection to the local bus network and to the entire island, covering the east and west zones, so you won't need to walk far if you want to enjoy these services. Other things to note All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket. For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays.
