200 Year Old Riverside Cottage + Garden

Our riverside cottage is close to everything you need in the lovely village of Braunton, yet feels a million miles from everyday life. This is a 200 year old cottage with a cosy contemporary feel. We have 2 double rooms with an extra fold out bed/ travel cot possible. This makes a perfect base to surf, walk, cycle (right next to the Tarka trail) or just chill in the lovely garden or in front of the woodburner. Couples, friends, children and a well behaved dog all welcome. The space We have a kingsize and a double bedroom- everything you need is provided. The beds are new, super comfortable and have feather bedding and blackout blinds so you should be in for a good nights sleep. There are masses of dvds, puzzles, games etc for a cosy evening in with the woodburner and a selection of bits you might need for a sunny day out- fold up chairs, cool bags etc as well as a lovely area outside to dine or take up residence in a deckchair for the afternoon. We can also happily cater for children or a dog (1 maximum- please enquire if you have more) if you have some in your family- just let us know and we can provide either a fold out single bed OR travel cot in the Kingsize room or a travel cot (only- not enough space for an extra bed in here) in the double room. The stairs are quite steep so we can add a stairgate at the bottom to deter little climbers. We also have a baby bath/ high chair/ baby monitor/ toddler loo step & seat/ toys/ games etc. For your dog we have bowls/ blankets/ towels for wet walks! Please ask if you need any other information. Guest access This cottage is all yours to enjoy without any interruption so you can relax in privacy- we are always available on the phone for any help you need. Other things to note We will send an information pack via email before your visit but if you need anything else just ask! Regarding dogs we would absolutely welcome you to bring the four legged member of your family- but the cottage is cosy so 1 maximum and not too enormous please! -However if you have 2 littlies it’s always worth asking if we’d think that would be ok!
