On the 1st floor there is a large roof terrace with sun loungers, seating groups and a barbecue area. The house is located in an excellent prime location only 80m from the beach promenade and the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach Laboes. The fine sandy beach with shallow water zones offers children an ideal bathing paradise. It is also only a few minutes' walk to the port of Labo and the indoor seawater pool. The splendid view of the Kiel Fjord will delight you on your holiday. You can safely store your bicycles with us. A private parking for your car and a bicycle rental are available. We rent all year round! Laboe The idyllic Baltic resort of Laboe (about 5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has become a popular holiday and seaside resort. Laboe is an ancient place and was first mentioned in documents in 1240. The name Laboe is derived from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "swan place". And even today, the swan is the heraldic animal Laboes. The long, fine sandy beach slopes very flat towards the fjord, so it is especially recommended for families with small children. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most frequented waterways in the world, on your doorstep, the "beach life" offers a special attraction also for "sailors", who can observe the passing ships extensively. The panorama of Laboe is visibly surmounted by the world-famous 85 m high naval memorial. This memorial commemorates the fate of all the people who remained at sea and is intended as a reminder for a peaceful navigation on the open seas. From above, the visitor has a beautiful view over the fjord and the Baltic Sea in clear weather. At the foot of the monument is the submarine u 995 as a technical museum. The movie "The Boat" takes place on a submarine, which, like u 995, belongs to the famous class vii c. A visit to u995 offers an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness in which the submarines had to live for months. The Kiel Fjord is considered the sailing mecca ("Kieler Woche") par excellence. In the immediate vicinity are the Danish islands Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Sea". In the Laboer marina, exhausted sailors find rest and recreation. Restaurants, cafés, the harbor, shopping and the spa park are within walking distance – the perfect base for your Baltic Sea vacation. The apartment is open and functional: the combined living, sleeping and kitchen area offers you a cozy double bed, a small sitting area with TV and a well-equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher. Everything you need for self-catering is available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror are also available. A real highlight is the private furnished terrace overlooking the countryside – ideal for breakfast in the fresh air or relaxing afternoons outdoors. As a guest of the Parkpension, you can of course also use all other amenities in the house: On the large roof terrace on the first floor you will find lounge furniture, sun loungers, tables and a charcoal grill. The wellness garden invites you to relax with a barrel sauna, hot tub and seasonal pool (May to September). In addition, a communal laundry room with a washing machine and dryer as well as an outdoor bicycle parking space and a lockable bicycle shed are available. A private car parking space is of course part of the apartment and a wallbox is available on the premises for electric cars.
