Welcome to Fordnudden Mansion, a unique design house from 1965. It’s not a house, it is a private resort with everything you can dream of for a vacation. Perfect for family and friends’ gatherings where everyone can enjoy all the house has to offer, winter and summer. Perfect for kids and adults, with in & outdoor pools, jacuzzi, bar, pool & ping pong tables and more. With eight hotel style bedrooms you can be up to 18 guests. The house is 540sqm with 12 rooms, 9 bedrooms and 6,5 bathrooms, sauna, bar and poolroom with an indoor pool as well. Newly added game lounge with ping pong table, pool, dart, airhockey and poker table for more fund when you are tired of the pools. The house has primarily design furniture typical for the 1960´s, like Arne Jacobssen, Eero Aarnio, Paul Henningsson etc from Fritz Hansen. Guest access Outside The house has a large swimming pool outside (5x10m) with large stairs at one of the ends for easy access and small kids. There are also a spa bath with 40 degrees all year around integrated in the pool deck with amazing view over the lake. The 300sqm large pool deck has sunbeds to enjoy the view and the sun. A pergola with infrared heaters and table & chairs for 20 people dining watching the sunset in the lake. There is a big outside kitchen with a bar and large BBQ from Weber which runs on gas. There are two cayak’s and a canoe for you to use. A row boat in the water ready for you you would like to fish or just enjoy the lake. Fishing gear is available. Indoor Spa Inside we have our own spa with a swimming pool 3,5x7m with sunbeds for relaxing and a sauna. In this area we also have a fully equipped bar and relaxing chairs. Game Lounge The newly build game lounge has a pool table, ping pong table, dart, airhockey and a poker table. Kitchen The kitchen is a Poggenpohl kitchen equipped with the best Gaggenau appliances. You will have a great lake view while you are cooking. An extra fully equipped kitchen is located behind the bar. Living room The living room is 100sqm with a 180inch screen coming down from the ceiling connected to Xbox, Playstation 4, Nintendo and Apple TV with 5.1 cinema sound. Bedrooms All bed linen and towels are totally new and your beds will be made when you arrive. There are nine (9) bedrooms in the house with up to 18beds. There are 14 beds and 4 extra beds of very high quality. Three baby cribs available as well as three baby chairs. Other things to note Concierge service is available upon request.
