Description

Silent Canoe features 5 bedrooms & 4.5 baths, including 3 suites with king sized beds, a bunk room, and a private loft. There are lake views from nearly every room, a wrap-around covered porch, a covered dining porch, and a fire pit. The home is on 8 acres, with cleared nature trails, including a .25 mile path to the lake. The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking and dining ware. Less than 10 miles off the Baxter exit, 7.5 miles to Cookeville Boat Dock, and 25 minutes to Cookeville. The space As you drive one mile down the one-lane road leading to the house, you’ll feel yourself relax as you catch your first glimpses of Center Hill Lake! You’ll love the privacy of Silent Canoe! It is in an upscale neighborhood, but once you pull down the driveway, all you see is water and trees! There is also plenty of privacy in and around the home with large master bedrooms, a wrap-around porch with seating, and trails to explore around our 8 acres of land! There’s also plenty of fun to be had with a large yard, lake access, a fire pit, and a ping pong table and arcade-style basketball in one garage bay! Guest access You will have access to the entire house except for the garage and locked owners closets. Other things to note Be prepared to be fully surrounded by nature! This means all the wonderful views and sounds, but also, you may encounter bugs and critters that live on the land. The driveway is a steep gravel driveway. Four-wheel drive is not necessary, but good tires and knowledge of how to drive on such roads are. (We have no trouble in our minivan and rear-wheel drive vehicles. One group struggled.) An outdoor fire pit is available with 8 chairs. Please bring your own firewood, and do not cut down any trees or branches on the property. Please fully put out fires before going inside. Infants and toddlers are welcome in our home. Please note that the home is not baby-proofed though, and there are long flights of stairs both inside and outside. Starter packs of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, and soap are provided. The trails are available through the fall and winter months, but as leaves fall, it is harder to see rocks and dips in the trail. Please use caution. If you encounter a fallen tree on a trail, just let us know, and we’ll get it cleared! Security camera disclosure: Two security cameras are located on the exterior of the home, facing away from the house. One is mounted near the wrap-around porch, facing the upper parking area. The other is mounted under the wrap-around porch, facing the lower parking area. Both cameras record when motion activated and are operational 24/7. There are no interior devices or cameras. Cameras may not be obstructed, moved, or turned off.
