THE FAIRYTALE CHARM OF THE TRULLI WITH COMFORT AND AUTONOMY Ideal for families, Trullimara is not a holiday house or a b&b, but a real home consisting of 'trulli' (rooms with classic coned roofs). The property occupies around 1500 sq metres and is completely independent and fanced, so it is perfect also for pets, who are warmly welcome. The dwelling dates from the 1800s but was comprehensively restructured in 2017 and, with its fireplace and radiators, is perfect for holidays all year round. The space Trullimara is located on a small hill (350 metres above sea level) between the municipal areas of Castellana Grotte, Alberobello and Monopoli and within easy reach of the Valle d'Itria and the beaches of Monopoli-Capitolo. The property is accessed via a private drive with a remote-controlled gate, and there is also a pedestrian gate with intercom. There is plenty of space and you can safely park two cars close to the front door. Outside: There is a spacious gazebo made of wood and stone with a large, solid table wood and iron table and several solid wooden chairs. The terrace, from which you can enjoy the views of the beautiful surrounding countryside, is accessed via stone steps. There is also an outside stone shower (with hot water) and a fully-functional outside kitchen/laundry area, replete with a stone worktop, barbecue, sink, washing machine and clothes horse. The garden has many different features: relaxation area with large parasols, a green lawn, plenty of potted plants, cacti, many different kinds of Mediterranean shrubs and fruit trees, and of course, olive trees. There is access for bicycles if needed. Availability for kids of a small play house and a small play table with chairs. Inside: the property offers 2 fully-furnished bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) as well as a dining-room with working fireplace, wooden table and chairs, sideboard and cabinet. The kitchen has a fridge and freezer, work surfaces and an electric oven, whilst the bathroom offers WC, bidet, wash basin and shower. The bedrooms and bathroom all have solid wooden doors with key locks. All the rooms have radiators and windows, with mosquito mesh and grilles attached. The front door is highly secure and has an inner door also with mosquito meshing. Availability for infants of a camping coat, a pram and a transportable car seat. Guest access You are free to access all parts of the property and gardens. The house and all facilities are completely independent. Welcoming and 'warm' as only your own home can be, it was our home for many holidays, in summer and in winter, and I hope that it becomes 'your home' for the next vacation.
