The space A tranquil Asian-style home tucked away in the exclusive gated community of Pebble Beach is just minutes' away from golf and sightseeing, with a peaceful ambiance and designer touches that make this a special place to stay. Perfect for families or for several couples getting together for a golf getaway, the residence includes a 3-bedroom, 2-bath main house and a separate granny suite that includes a queen bed, private bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator and stove. Close to Monterey Peninsula Country Club and the Links at Spanish Bay, the home offers plenty of space inside and out, with a large fully fenced yard. Special details such as Asian art, sliding shoji screens, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows and minimalist modern furnishings are all part of this recently renovated Mid-century home. The 2,115-square-foot house is close to many of the most desirable areas of Pebble Beach, including fine dining at the Inn at Spanish Bay and sightseeing along historic 17 Mile Drive. It's also a few minutes' by car to view charming Victorians and Asilomar State Beach in Pacific Grove, and a 10-minute drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row or to dining and shopping in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Other attractions within a half-hour drive include the natural wonders of Point Lobos and Big Sur, and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village. Living Spaces: The front door of the main house, framed in ferns and river rock, opens into an Asian-style foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. The foyer is the link between a bedroom wing and the main living area, which includes the living room, dining room, kitchen and primary bedroom suite. Well-equipped for extended stays! In the living room, comfortable furnishings in tones of blue, gray and white surround a gas fireplace with whitewashed brick surround and a 65-inch HDTV with sound bar. Kitchen and Dining: The kitchen has a flat electric cooktop, wall oven and solid surface countertops, as well as a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and sink with pull-out faucet. The adjacent dining area has a stunning Asian wall mural as backdrop, and a hidden bar area that includes a sink and tiled alcove. Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Bedroom #1 is a suite which includes a king bed with white coverlet and a wooden headboard, a large closet and access to the back yard. A large en suite bath includes a long vanity with plenty of room for everything, and a tub/shower combination. The bedroom wing on the other side of the home features sliding screens to the wing that can be closed for privacy as well as a washer and dryer closet. The two bedrooms both feature queen beds and both have access to the front driveway area through shoji screen doors. These bedrooms share a hallway bath with a tub/shower combination and a vessel sink. Bedroom #4, is a self-contained guest suite with a queen bed, upholstered armchair, kitchenette with electric range, microwave and refrigerator, and a bistro dining set, as well as an easy-care hardwood-style floor throughout. Its en suite bathroom includes a tiled shower. Parking is available in a two-vehicle carport with another space in the driveway. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum. Dogs should not be left alone at the home. Extended stays are often possible. This vacation home is professionally managed by Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. Sanctuary Vacation Rentals will contact you as there is an additional fee and addendum that must be completed. There may be breed and size limitations imposed by the home owner. Bringing a pet to the home without paying the pet fee and completing the addendum can result in an additional charge of up to $500 per pet.
