Enjoy a stay in a cozy one bedroom, newly built cabin on a secluded private pond. In the winter sit right outside on the covered porch and watch for northern lights. In the summer, enjoy a day out on the water in the kayaks then finish the day grilling some steaks or cooking smores over the fire pit. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood that is just an 8 mile drive from both Fairbanks or North Pole. Perfect secluded location for enjoying quality time! The kitchen has beautiful white granite countertops with stainless steel appliances and cabinets stocked with all the utensils and tools you need to cook delicious meals. The coffee pot is a Keurig single serve coffee pod machine. There is also an electric kettle for tea drinkers. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa for extra guests or kids. There is also a Roku smart tv to catch up on your favorite tv series or enjoy a cozy movie night-in. The heat in the home comes from radiant floor heating, so in the winters your feet will never be cold. The vaulted ceilings make the whole space feel big. The bathroom boasts a charming deep set tub with jets and a hose shower head with tile backsplash. There is complimentary makeup remover wipes, cotton swabs/balls, bath salts, hair dryer and plenty of space to store your toiletries. Finish your fun filled days by getting a great night sleep on the queen size memory foam mattress with bamboo bed sheets and down comforter. There is wireless charging in the nightstands for your smartphone and a usb plug-in on the back side of the nightstands. The headboard also has touch lighting, giving the room a cozy romantic feel. Extra sheets/pillows and bedding are in the top of the closet. There is free limited wi-fi included in the rental. Two kayaks are also available for use. I ask that you only use them responsibly and with respect and only while wearing a life vest. No smoking on or in the property and no parties. Quiet time is 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends. I will try to be available every day between 7am and 10pm by cell phone or e-mail. I live in the neighborhood so I can be made available quite quickly and can meet new guests at the rental if so desired. There is keyless entry to the property so if its more comfortable to not make physical contact, then that's not an issue. If I know that I will be out of town or un-reachable during your stay, I will make sure I have a back-up contact person available to you for any issues or needs. This neighborhood is just a 15 minute drive from the Fairbanks International airport and is ten minute drive from downtown Fairbanks or North Pole where you can enjoy plenty of delicious restaurants. Just a quick mile down the road is a convenience store that has a nicely stocked liquor store and a RedBox where you can rent a movie to play on the DVD player The house is situated on a private pond that is fully owned by myself and some of my family members so you will be able to enjoy a nice quiet stay. I ask that you just be courteous and respectful of the area when out venturing by foot or on the kayaks. It would be best if you had a rental vehicle when staying in this area. However there is a bus stop a 10 minute walk from the house if needed.
