North Pole Cabin on the Pond

Enjoy a stay in a cozy one bedroom, newly built cabin on a secluded private pond. In the winter sit right outside on the covered porch and watch for northern lights. In the summer, enjoy a day out on the water in the kayaks then finish the day grilling some steaks or cooking smores over the fire pit. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood that is just an 8 mile drive from both Fairbanks or North Pole. Perfect secluded location for enjoying quality time! The space The kitchen has beautiful white granite countertops with stainless steel appliances and cabinets stocked with all the utensils and tools you need to cook delicious meals. The coffee pot is a Keurig single serve coffee pod machine. There is also an electric kettle for tea drinkers. There is also a full drip coffee maker stored in one of the kitchen cabinets. There is a dishwasher and a drying rack. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa for extra guests or kids. There is also a Roku smart tv to catch up on your favorite tv series or enjoy a cozy movie night-in. The heat in the home comes from radiant floor heating, so in the winters your feet will never be cold. The vaulted ceilings make the whole space feel bigger than it is. Please be aware that the home is in an area that only sattelite internet is available and can be unreliable in bad weather. This is a home where you can have the opportunity to disconnect from your phone and enjoy nature. The bathroom boasts a charming deep set tub with jets and a hose shower head with tile backsplash. There is complimentary makeup remover wipes, cotton swabs/balls, bath salts, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer with plenty of space to store your toiletries. For those with a hard time getting in and out of a deep set tub, there is a suction handle in the cabinet next to the bathtub. There is also a no-slip pad for the bottom of the tub in that cabinet. Finish your fun filled days by getting a great night sleep on the queen size memory foam mattress with bamboo bed sheets and down comforter. There is wireless charging in the nightstands for your smartphone and a usb plug-in on the back side of the nightstands. The headboard also has touch lighting, giving the room a cozy romantic feel. Extra sheets/pillows and bedding are in the top of the closet. As well as bedding for the sleeper sofa. Please be aware that this home is located in an area that uses a well, not city water. So the water can sometimes have a sulphur/mineral smell when the water table is shifting, because of the changing seasons. There is free limited sattelite wi-fi included in the rental. Two kayaks are also available for use. I ask that you use them responsibly and with respect and only while wearing a life vest. No smoking on or in the property and no parties. Quiet time is 10pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends.
