Introducing ‘The Retreat’ @ Te Koha estate; a modern, luxury, two bedroom villa in a sun-drenched, private location overlooking two of NZ's finest beaches. The Retreat is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. This is the perfect space for couples, friends or a family wanting to enjoy The Bay of Islands & Te Ngaere Bay. The space With seamless indoor/outdoor flow, every room opens onto the large deck so you get to soak in the sounds of waves and the amazing views of the ocean, Pia Pia beach, Te Ngaere Bay, and the Cavalli Islands. Chill out and relax on the luxury outdoor furniture or cook for friends on the BBQ in the outside dining area. The open plan kitchen has a dining table that flows into the living room. In the evening, cuddle up on the sofa and watch a movie on the 56” surround sound tv. Two large bedrooms with stunning sea views, each have a luxury ensuite bathroom, separate shower and a sunken bath. Your comfort is our priority with quality mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, super fluffy towels, bath robes and luxury toiletries. Take a walk down our beautiful garden path to our newly built viewing deck, with luxury outdoor loungers for an afternoon beverage with views that will make you realise you have arrived in paradise. A short stroll down the driveway gives you access to three stunning sandy beaches where you can safely swim, snorkel, fish, dive, or kayak. We provide beach towels and bags, so everything is catered for you. Guest access The Retreat is totally private on the Te Koha estate, with a suitable parking space for your car and a boat or jetski. The renowned Kauri Cliffs Golf Course with its fine dining restaurant is a 12 minutes’ drive away, and for something more relaxed after a day at the beach, Matauri Bay Fish and Chip shop and Whangaroa fishing club is a 10 minute drive. The Bay of Islands airport is 28km away. Other things to note We ask that guests keep the noise down after 10pm. The Vodafone network is the only mobile phone coverage available in Te Ngaere Bay and across the Te Koha estate. Starlink is the internet provider. Passwords are provided in the manual. Therapeutic massage is available by arrangement with Angela for those who need to unwind after travelling. If you are unable to travel due to COVID lockdown travel restrictions we offer a refund or guests may change the date of travel.
