At night the stars are clear and feel incredibly close to you, so great for star gazing. Approximately an 8 minute drive from the centre of Bright where there are plenty of quaint shops, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs for you to explore and enjoy. A little further afield is a 35 minute trip to Mt Beauty, or 45 minutes to Mt Hotham for a days skiing in the winter or 60 minutes to Mt Buffalo where the kids can play in the snow or bush walk in the warmer months. Access to the Ovens river for fishing, swimming or relaxing is only a 2 minute car drive ir short walk or an easy bike ride. Also, an easy bike right into Bright for bike enthusiasts.
